Adjoining the church of San Ignacio, this former Jesuit school was founded in the 17C under the name of Colegio Máximo de la Compañía de Jesús en la Nueva Granada (Grand College of the Society of Jesus in New Granada). Converted into a Museum of Colonial Art and laid out around a flower-decked patio, it now exhibits items that belonged to the region's early colonists: a fine collection of vases, wooden coffers and silverware, as well as period furniture and paintings.
