De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
The two buildings that make up the Museo de Bellas Artes (Bilbao Fine Arts Museum), one built in 1945, the second in the 1960s, and both now connected by a new structure, house Spain's second largest collection of works of art after the Prado in Madrid. The rooms, split between two floors, display art from the 13C to the present day in chronological order. Numerous Spanish artists are represented, along with Basque and foreign artists such as Gauguin, Delaunay, Léger, Bacon, Hockney, Alechinsky and Kapoor.
