This cave, discovered in 1835, was created by an underground river and forms a natural shelter in the rock face along the side of the gorge. It is adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. Its main features of interest are its staggered water basins. Its chambers have been given evocative names such as the Virgin's Fountain, Painters' Gallery and Kings' Room.
