The museum contains very varied collections relating to prehistory, Greek antiquity, silverware from Bern, non-religious and religious works from Asia and Oceania and tapestries from Burgundy (1440-1515). Look out for the Pourtalès salon and the huge scales. Since 2010 the building also houses the only museum in the world devoted to Einstein. Temporary exhibitions.
