Beyond the maritime hospital is the lighthouse, which was rebuilt after the war and stands 40m tall. At the bottom, the Promenade Debeyre follows the coastline southwards to the Port de la Madelon and the Baie d'Authie, where a colony of seals gathers at low tide.
