In addition to the elegant façade of the church of St Étienne, the square is lined by lovely old houses: at N°25, a medieval half-timbered house with a corbelled balcony; at N°21, Hôtel de Florainville (Law courts) with its Alsace-style Renaissance façade; at N°29, a classically appointed 17C façade, characteristic of local architecture complete with columns, scrolls around the windows and pediments.
