Though nearly 150 years have passed since pioneers settled here, Old Town remains the heart of Bandon. The district serves both residents and tourists, mixing galleries, shops and restaurants with a fish-processing plant, law offices and a lumber mill. Several Old Town galleries surpass souvenir-shop status.
