In addition to the modern Römerthermen with their huge glass roof, Baden has preserved intact numerous villas and a few spas from its heyday. While the majority of these spas have been repurposed, their Classical and Biedermeier styles from the first half of the 19C are full of charm. The Josefsbad has a café, the Frauenbad is home to the Arnulf Rainer Museum dedicated to the artist, the Franzensbad is now a glass workshop and the Leopoldsbad houses the tourist office.
