The graceful silhouette of Azay-le-Rideau Castle, a Renaissance masterpiece, is reflected in the waters of the Indre. Following an impressive exterior restoration, the edifice is currently refurbishing the interior in a bid to faithfully recreate the entire setting. If a detail is missing and cannot be found, the profession is reinvented in order to do so. As a result, the castle has become a centre of expertise for conservation and heritage know-how.
