Dating from the grandiose Belle Époque, this luxury hotel stands on a spur of Cap d'Antibes, amidst 8ha of grounds. It was inaugurated in the spring of 1870 with a lavish party thrown by Russian princes. In 1914, the Éden-Roc annex with a private beach was opened, paving the way for summer seaside holidays on the French Riviera. Nowadays, the establishment, known as the Cap-Éden-Roc, is a favourite with movie stars who stay here during the Cannes Film Festival.
