This museum is housed in the chapel of the Conservatoire d'Art et d'Histoire de la Haute-Savoie, itself installed in the former Grand Séminaire. It focuses on history, art and the techniques behind animated images. Thanks to the inventive and interactive museography, visitors can understand how techniques have evolved (from shadow theatre to modelling clay to digital)... and children love it. The art of animation has been hallowed in Annecy since 1960 through the International Animated Film Festival.
