This 16C, five-storey, half-timbered house, whose pillars sport numerous sculpted figures, is believed to take its name from the apple tree which seems to prop up the corner turret and which was once flanked by two statues of Adam and Eve. However, its 18C owner was called Michel Adam - an amazing coincidence!
