Occupying the remarkable 16C Palazzo Ferretti, this museum is home to interesting collections highlighting the different civilisations that have populated the region from Palaeolithic times to the Hellenistic period, with particular attention given to the Piceni civilisation. The exceptional group of large Roman bronzes from Cartoceto is a copy - the original is now displayed in the Pergola museum.
