In the 11C, a Romanesque church and cloister were built. Work was interrupted by the Albigensian Crusade, resuming in the 13C in the new Gothic style. The change is manifest in the Romanesque stone tower with Lombard strips, which has a Gothic storey (12C) above it and is finished off by a 15C brick section. In the cloister, rebuilt by Vidal de Malvesi in the 13C, note the fine historiated capitals.
