A former Capuchin monastery is home to the Archaeological Museum, which houses vestiges found in the site neighbouring Morgantina. You reach the museum via the church, Chiesa di San Francesco. It houses beautiful antefixes depicting Gorgon figures, lions and maenads. The highlight of the collection is the Venere di Morgantina, a statue of Venus (or Demeter) dating from the 5C BC.
