Gambero Rosso was founded in the 1970s, when Anna Maria and Giuseppe Sculli decided to pay tribute to the sea that they had previously left as emigrants. Since then, the restaurant has become a focus for the whole family and today, a new chapter is being written with the arrival of sons Riccardo and Francesco at the helm. Fish-lovers will be in their element at this restaurant, which is one of the most popular in the region. The dishes are made from the best fish caught daily along the Ionian coast, with raw fish dishes, including excellent antipasti, attracting customers from all over Calabria. The fresh pasta options are also excellent, while the main courses combine fish and seafood with vegetables. The restaurant also makes a commendable effort to work as much as possible with local producers and suppliers.
