Its restaurant, Nicolo Polo, is a light, airy spot and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. The food is a mix of classical and modern Mediterranean: start with ‘DIY prawns’, before moving on to bold main courses and contrastingly delicate desserts – the rožata is a must-try. There’s also a terrace over the road where they serve simpler dishes during the day.
