Located in the Igara industrial park in the city’s Ibaeta district, Agorregi is run by an attentive couple with chef Gorka Arzelus running the kitchen and his wife, Beatriz Bengoetxea, in charge of the dining room. It features a bar with a few tables set aside for guests ordering the daily menu, plus a more modern dining room where the focus is on regionally inspired cuisine, contemporary dishes and the option of two tasting menus. Specialities here include the crab with a prawn and Iberian pancetta cream, prawn carpaccio, and the caramelised cheesecake. The artisanal bread comes from the legendary Galparsoro bakery!
