The world's oldest hotel according to Guinness, Hoshi Ryokan was established in 718 and has been operated by 46 generations of the same family. It offers hot springs and traditional dishes. It is a 5-minute walk to Osshobe Park. Rooms at Hoshi have a tatami floor and Japanese-style futon bedding. The wide windows look out on peaceful greenery.
