Artist and art collector Pedro Coronel (1922-85) bequeathed his precious treasures to the museum that bears his name. In addition to his own work, particularly his richly coloured paintings, you can enjoy masterpieces from the greatest modern artists (Giacometti, Miró, Delaunay), pre-Hispanic art objects, Egyptian antiquities and African masks, not to mention works from the colonial era. The collection is exhibited in the attractive setting of the former Jesuit college and its arcaded patio.
