The Cretan Ethnology Museum uses artefacts that are remarkable in terms of their ethnological and aesthetic worth to shine the spotlight on all themes of Cretan daily life, as well as certain regional particularities: fishing, agricultural tools, pottery, basketwork, furniture, traditional fabrics, musical instruments, wrought-iron work, architecture etc. Certain objects are very strange looking, and although for common usage are quite an eye-opener.
