Fossil Museum
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Only three museums in the world are in possession of kronosaurus (which literally means "lizard of time") specimens. The discovery of this one in 1977 was made by local peasants. The initial plan to transfer the skeleton to a specialised museum was scrapped, due to strong opposition from locals, who didn't want "their fossil" removed. Instead this site was created so that the general public could admire the kronosaurus, along with a hundred or so ammonites and fossils found in the region.
