The Accademia houses a superb collection of Venetian painting from the 14C to the 19C. All the major artists are represented here (Carpaccio, Bellini, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Veronese, Titian, Tiepolo etc), offering canvases full of colour, light and splendour that are truly breathtaking. This stunning collection is housed in a complex of buildings which includes the Monastery of Lateran Canons, the Church of La Carità, and the Scuola Grande della Carità.
