Hot Springs State Park
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Shoshone and Arapaho tribes sold these springs to the state of Wyoming in 1896 with the stipulation that they remain free for public use. Today, 500m3/h 57°C water flow daily from Monument Hill, transported via a pipe in the centre of two 6m travertine terraces created over the course of a century by the continual deposit of 27 different minerals. The Wyoming State Bathhouse (no entry fee) sits between two commercial facilities at the foot of the springs.
