The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center organises interactive presentations which allow visitors to learn all about the cataclysmic eruptions and floods which formed the gorge, as well as providing information on Lewis and Clark's journey up the Columbia river. The "Ice Age Exhibit" is home to a life-size reproduction of a mammoth.
