Since 1916, the animals in this zoo with plenty of greenery have presided over a remarkable view of Sydney Harbour. The 75ha grounds, which you reach by cable car, house 4 000 animals, including rare and endangered species. The stars are the koalas, platypus, Asian elephants, lions, tigers, giraffes, rhinoceri, meerkats and lemurs. It is also possible to zipline over the canopy, and spend the night in an African lodge or tent.
