Nestled in the farmlands of the Shenandoah Valley, the Frontier Culture Museum enables visitors to see a series of farm buildings, which were taken down and rebuilt in this 31.6ha historical park. You will see a German peasant farmhouse from around 1700; a Scottish-Irish farm from around 1705; a late-17C English farmhouse and a Virginia farm dating from around 1805. Artisans in costume demonstrate skills such as blacksmithing, weaving and sheep-shearing.
