Church of St Nicholas the Latin
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Giulietta, daughter of King Roger I, founded this attractive Norman church in the early 12C. The façade is plain, the only ornamentation being the double recess of the arches of the doorway and three windows. Behind it, the interior is in the form of a Latin cross. The three semicircular apses are typical of Arab-Norman buildings. Small windows reminiscent of loopholes filter the light.
