De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Opposite the Bucquoy Palace, home to the French Embassy since 1919, is the Lennon Wall. Covered in graffiti, this wall is a monument to resistance and hippie culture. After John Lennon was murdered, an unknown man erected a memorial to the artist. In the political context of communist Czechoslovakia, this graffiti was an act of provocation. More street art followed. Owned by the Order of Malta, the wall has become an attraction and was declared a memorial site in 2019.
