A motorized Safari Train runs a 30min narrated loop through the four habitat areas of this 125-acre nonprofit zoo. Some 1,400 animals are resident. On the Tropics Trail, the Forest of Uco simulates a Colombian rain-forest outpost with native animals. The Arizona Trail visits a desert home for coyotes, mountain lions, Mexican wolves and other Southwest wildlife. White rhinos, Sumatran tigers, South American spectacled bears and a breeding colony of Arabian oryxes are among endangered animals.
