This church resembles a fortress. Built in the 15C, its northwest wall is adorned with crenellations, loopholes and high, narrow bays. The bell tower, destroyed during the Revolution, was rebuilt during the Empire period, when it acquired a four-sided dome of Franc-Comtois inspiration. The sentry walk skirts the interior of the church, above the side vaults and galleries of the façade. Inside is a polychrome wooden statue representing the patron saint of Pérouges, St George.
