Perched high up in Jardbadshólar, in a desolate natural setting, this bathing site boasts a splendid view over Lake Mývatn and Hverfjall. It is often compared to Keflavík's Blue Lagoon, but without the crowds, and with much more decent prices. Located in a fault originating at Grjotagjá, the waters enjoy temperatures between 36-41°C, and are rich in silicate, minerals and microorganisms with properties that are beneficial for the skin. A particularly relaxing experience, especially when the crowds die down towards the end of the day.
