The island of Mana, to the south of the Kornati islands, boasts a superb series of cliffs forming a "crown", a fine example of klifs. Oblique strata of limestone in many shades of grey and beige rise in a semicircle to a height of 70m off the coast of the island. Don't be taken in by the ruins at the top of the hill on the westernmost tip of the island: they were in fact "built" in 1959 for a film set.
