A natural frontier between the Cornouaille and Léon regions, the Monts d'Arrée are Brittany's highest "mountains", even though they do not exceed 384m. Rounded mounds rub shoulders with rugged, barren ridges and moors, all of which are part of the Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique. Don't miss the Roc Trévezel and its panoramic view, freshwater salmon fishing at Châteaulin, and Pleyben's remarkable parish close (enclos paroissial), whose 1555 calvary is the most imposing in Brittany.
