This former convent of the Order of St Clare lies to the northwest of Montblanc on a small hill which commands a splendid panoramic view. Many popes and kings have protected this sanctuary, which houses the 15C Mare de Déu de la Serra, one of the most venerated images of the Virgin Mary.
