Given the scope of the pollution problem in Mexico City, it's easy to see why the Bosque de Chapultepec is so important. A veritable "green lung", this park with over 400ha has a lot going for it, from areas for picnicking, lakes for peaceful boat rides and numerous other activities to remarkable museums and Chapultepec Castle (18C). Needless to say it is packed on weekends!
