De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
In the 17C, Méru was home to several luxury craft workshops, supplying Parisians with buttons, fans, domino sets, jewellery and assorted inlaid trinkets, made from a wide range of natural materials: mother-of-pearl, ivory, tortoise shell, ebony, etc. The Museum of Mother-of-Pearl and Marquetry, established in a former button factory, pays tribute to this craft industry.
