The Museu do Índio, a little museum built by the religious congregation of the Salesians that for years has been working with the Indian communities, is home to a fine collection of everyday objects from different ethnic groups (masks, pottery, tools and so on). It is a shame, however, that the outmoded museum design doesn't show them off to their best advantage.
