At the tip of Pointe d'Esny the road opens onto a pretty cove, sheltered from the ocean by the Île des Deux Cocos, with its highly popular public beach fringed by filao trees. As the site is protected, it is only possible to swim in a designated area that is long but narrow and clearly indicated by buoys and suitable for children. Numerous vendors walk up and down the beach selling their wares. The beach is busiest at the weekends: swimming lessons, family picnics and improvised sega sessions.
