This is where the province of Álava begins, with all it has to offer in terms of wildness and rusticity. Created in 1992 and covering around 3 500ha, Valderejo is the foremost of Álava's nature parks. The village of Lalastra is its point of access. Over half the land is forest (pines, oaks and beech trees).Two major attractions are the Purón Gorge and the Sobrón Gorge.
