Henri II House
De Groene Gids
De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This building consisting only of a façade and narrow corridors in a gallery was built in 1555 for Hugues de Pontard, the king's prosecutor and was in fact a clever way of connecting the two buildings on either side of the courtyard. This surprising trompe-l-oeil structure consists of two pavilions, a frieze with vertical stripes, medallions and bucrania (skulls of oxen).
