The house at n°314 Calle Leonor Pérez is a cult address as it was here, on 28 January 1853, that José Marti, who went on to play a leading role in the struggle for Cuban independence, was born. In this museum's hushed atmosphere, the hero's character is illustrated by his personal effects and moving family photos.
