De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This austere Gothic catle (12C) was Montesquieu's birthplace. Beyond the moat is the hall, where his travel trunks may still be seen. The salon has a fine 16C cabinet and family portraits. Montesquieu's bedroom remains as it was in his time. The library holds some 5 000 volumes. The English-style park was inspired by a trip Montesquieu made across the Channel.
