The Mel Fisher Maritime Museum chronicles the story of treasure-hunter Mel Fisher's 16-year search for the 1622 wreck of the Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha whose precious cargo was valued at over $450 million. Display cases highlight the fabulous gold and silver treasures and also everyday objects discovered, that give an insight into life onboard.
