De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
Scarred by glaciers of the past, this 396sq km/153sq mi area on the shores of Bonavista Bay is a combination of rolling country and indented coastline. Deep fiords, or "sounds," reach inland, and in early summer these coastal waters are dotted with icebergs that float down with the Labrador Current. The Trans-Canada Highway bisects the park with some good views of the sounds, but visitors must leave the highway to truly appreciate its natural beauty.
