Some of the highlights in this 60 million year-old limestone cave include a rare calcite formation known as a helictite or cave flower; Fairyland Lake, which shimmers in the glow of multi-coloured lights; and Capitol Dome, an impressive column formed 12 000 years ago, when a stalagmite on the cave floor fused with a stalactite on the ceiling.
