Two residences are well worth a visit: the House of the Dolphins, whose central courtyard is adorned with a mosaic depicting dolphins, and the House of the Masks. Inside, a long corridor leads to several rooms, before opening onto a peristyle courtyard surrounded by reception rooms. Almost all the mosaics are still there. Further down, you pass a vast hotel equipped with a huge cistern. The latter has its back to the theatre, located on the other side of the street and set against the hollow hillside. Built in the 3rd century BC, it could seat 5,500 spectators.
