The pedestrianised Cairuán Street runs along the walls of the Judería, which are only a small part of those that were originally there to protect the town. This well-preserved group was built with stones whose size is softened by the green cypresses. Originally Arab the Almodóvar gate underwent serious restoration in the 19C and an internal crenellated facade was added. To the left of the gate notice the statue of Seneca. Don't miss the night time illuminations.
