De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
A 2.4km/1.5mi winding road provides access to this shrine on a plateau 600m/1 968ft above Colorado Springs. The 30m/98ft granite tower (1937, Charles E. Thomas), with its medieval castle-like appearance, is dedicated to the actor and philosopher Will Rogers, who died in a plane crash in 1935. Its different floors are home to photo galleries retracing the life of Rogers, while the final 94 steps provide views of the east of the region.
