The hotel complexes that are increasing in number on Playa Santa Lucía are the main focus along this slightly sad beach resort. Unfortunately, the scattering of houses at the entrance to the beach and the dilapidated buildings near the hotels are not enough to add life to the place. However, with its 20km of sandy beaches, including the beautiful Playa Los Cocos, and its coral reef, the setting is pleasant for those who enjoy swimming, scuba diving and water sports.
